A warm welcome to Caldwell Golf Club. Established in 1903, the 6355 yards parkland course is situated on the outskirts of the quiet village of Uplawmoor some 15 miles to the south west of Glasgow on the A736. Originally laid out by former Open Champion Willie Fernie and later improved by the legendary James Braid the course has delighted golfers of all ages for generations.
The fine parkland course may not be the longest or the hardest course you'll ever play on but it has a character all of its own and frequently evokes very favourable comments from many who enjoy its challenge. For directions to the club click onto the interactive map below.
Open Competitions for 2016
Seniors Open - Wednesday 1st June
The Seniors Open will be held on Wednesday 1st June 2016. Entry fee is £12.00 per player. Handicap limit is 24 and the field is limited to 165 entries. Download your entry form here
Mixed Open - Sunday 19th June
The Open Mixed Greensomes Competition will be held on Sunday 19th June 2015. Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 96 couples. Maximum handicap allowance for gents is 28, for ladies is 36. A handicap certificate is required. Entry fee is £15.00 per couple. An entry form may be download from here
Ladies Open - Monday 6th June
Ladies Open Day - Stroke Competition will be held on Monday 6th June 2016. Enter on your own or with one or two partners. A handicap certificate is required. Entry fee is £10 per person (includes magic 2's). Further details and an entry form may be downloaded from here.
A P Scott Memorial - Sunday 6th September
The A.P Scott Memorial Trophy competition will be held on Sunday 4th September 2016. Tee times are available from 08.00. Maximum handicap is 18. Entry fee is £15 per player. For futher information and an entry form click here
