A warm welcome to Caldwell Golf Club. Established in 1903, the 6355 yards parkland course is situated on the outskirts of the quiet village of Uplawmoor some 15 miles to the south west of Glasgow on the A736. Originally laid out by former Open Champion Willie Fernie and later improved by the legendary James Braid the course has delighted golfers of all ages for generations.
The fine parkland course may not be the longest or the hardest course you'll ever play on but it has a character all of its own and frequently evokes very favourable comments from many who enjoy its challenge. For directions to the club click onto the interactive map below.

A P Scott Memorial - 1st September - Prize winnersThe A.P Scott Memorial Trophy Competition Gents Open was played on a very blustery Sunday 1st September 2013. Congratulations to Garry Price from Paisley for winning the scratch competition, and to Andrew Christie from Caldwell for winning the handicap competition. Seniors Open - 5th June - Prize winners109 AWAY and 38 HOME players competed.
The overall winner was A. McWilliam from Brunston Castle with a nett score of 66 (bih).
The scratch winner was R. S. Gill from Prestwick St. Cuthberts with a score of 73 (bih).
The best Caldwell player was J. Quinn with a nett score of 66 (bih).

The raffle, in support of junior golf at Caldwell raised £370. Thanks to all who donated prizes and all who bought tickets.

Ladies Open - 10th June - Prize winners
The Ladies Open Day Stroke Competition was held on Monday 10th June.
We had 85 entrants and a very successful day. The weather wasn't as warm as the previous day but we had no rain.
The Bronze winner was Jan Allan from Ralston with a net 70.
The Silver winner was Arlene Sinclair from Ardeer with a net 67.
The Best Caldwell Lady was Liz McPherson with a net 68 and Liz also won the Scratch Prize with a gross 80.
The charity chosen for our raffle this year was Friends of the Beatson and we raised the marvellous total of £317.00.
All who attended had a very enjoyable day and are already looking forward to 2014.

Junior Open - 4th JulyThe Junior Open Competition will be held on Thursday 4th July 2013. The competition is open to players age 18 or under on 1st January 2013. An entry fee of £6.00 is payable per player. Scratch and Handicap categories are follows: Scratch to 14 and 15 to 36. Further details and an entry form are available for download from here.

The Senior Mixed Open will be held on Thursday 8th August 2013. Applications will be accepted on a first come first served basis up to a maximum of 96 couples.
